About Us

LAURIN AG was founded in February 2010 by a group of shareholders with strong background in cutting edge of RF & Microwave solutions.

Straight from the beginning the focus was concentrated on designing and producing the highest specification ultra low noise frequency sources for the areas of particle acceleration research and radar systems. Design’s for power amplifiers with ultra low additive noise have been developed and experience in this area has been used to develop RF-solutions in low noise technical systems.

In addition, RF-over-fiber links, a proven solution for research applications has been developed to generate and distribute ultra low phase noise clock signals for time & frequency synchronisation.

Fulfilling the special requirements of our demanding customers in research, LAURIN AG has constantly pushed the technological limits and can today deliver frequency sources and synthesizers reaching jitter values below 1 femtosecond [1kHz-10MHz] and amplifiers with additive noise as low as 360 attoseconds [1kHz-10MHz] at 9-12GHz at power levels up to 2W.

Our main focus applications are signal sources and amplifiers in physical research, RF test & measurement, time and frequency and optical signal distribution.

All these areas require high precision to protect performance and produce high system reliability with a long life span.
